if the computers are really close, you culd buy a usb/ firewire cords that jsut hooks up to your usb port and you should be able to do it

do you mean transfer/share files from one computer to another?
if so, yes, you can use a flash card, or a usb card.
or if you really want to spend some money, buy an entire wireless network with your own sever and shit.
OR, you could just send the songs to your email, check your email on the other computer, and do what you do...

u can make to msn messenger accounts and sighn on on the two computers and then just send them to the other comp.

connect both computers using firewire and restart one while holding down t. then the computer you are holding down t on will show up as a hard drive on the other comp. then click and drag. this is if you have macs.

I dont know how to on a pc but on a mac you just turn FTP sharing on in the Sharing option. And it gives you an address you can put into your internet program or any ftp program. Easy as that.

ok you create a network if their both windows computer you should be able to do it very easily with the wizard. once both computers are in a home network go to the computer with all the itunes songs(its C:\Documents and Settings\Tim\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music by default)
right click the itunes folder and go to properties then click on the sharing tab and enable file sharing on that folder. now you are done with this computer
go to the second computer and the whole itunes music folder should be in your network places. from there you can drag all the stuff to your hard drive or you can just play the stuff from there (you must have the original computer on everytime you want to play the songs if you go this route
tell me if this is not what you ment by convert

number of ways:
sharing is the most logical via smb/cifs/netbios.
for windows just use the guy above and if you have a mac in the loop you can open a share w/ apple+k in finder and put in smb://computername/share
or you could use ftp but this would probably be more cumbersome considering you'd need a server app for a windows box.
or you could just use itunes on both machines as it supports sharing over LAN.
