Placed an order with them two weeks ago and the cocksuckers charged the card and still haven't shipped out the order. When you call them they tell you they are extremely busy and overwhelmed with orders, asked them to talk to the manager, who was completely rude and ignorant ended up hanging up on me when he was called out on issues in the past with the order delay. I can't believe I bought shit from them, I called d-structure and jibij to see if they have the stuff I wanted but unfortunately they didn't it. This bullshit has got to stop, I'm asking all of you newschoolers to boycott them and hopefully one day they will be gone for good.
Kingshit you are right to be mad at them, but like the other day i got really mad at liberty with my skis breaking and it did no use for me except get me in trouble, i would advise being careful on the internet in what you say before you get the stuff, its a wack world, oh and i def agree that getboards is kind of a weird store, i mean they have alot of stuff but there must be like so much shit they have to place orders on, imagine a whole world to ship to, theres alot of skiers and snowboarders out there, and it seems like getboards has the problem with good customer service, that is a downfall but i hope you get your stuff asap
oh and Liberty skis does have the nicest customer service out there for anyone who likes that, they work so hard to please everyone and do it in a very professional way!!
yeah i ordered the 12 mo ships that get boards claimed to have gotten on monday, and i was emailing them back and forth, and they said everything was cool and they asked what kind of shipping i wanted and i read the list and chose over night cuz im going to canada on friday, and they never emailed me back after taht. and ive been sending them several emails a day for the past couple days w/o an response. oh and they charged my card.
i just ordered 200 bucks worth of stuff 2 weeks and 2 days ago. it said it would be here in 1-2 weeks and still sint here. im not all THAT worried about it yet, although i would like to have it...
Damn Ant that's bullshit. Yeah I almost bought some Invaders from them, but then remembered their customer service ranking, an F, and said fuck it, Jibij, hook it up.
i bought a tee and a beanie, but they sent me some dudes tangerine dream. since i am the nice guy i am, i sent tha dude his video and getboards sent me my tee and beanie. they screw up alot, so im mos def not gonna chance it again. ifthey have it, im sure someone else does. and if not, YOU DONT EVEN WANT IT THAT BAD!!!
Boycott getboards they fucking blow at shipping and tracking and are the worst wiht customer satifacatoin. I got my order 15 days later than i was supposed to.
yes that's true, but do you see tons of threads about d-str and jibij messing up? no. sure, they get some orders right, but they mess up a lot of stuff. And when they do mess up they give a shitty response, like email us later were to busy trying to earn new money, we already have yours. If you had a problem with a jibij or ds order they would fix it right away.
Exactly man, I wouldn't nearly be as pissed if they could atleast give me explanation and not just ignore you for weeks and mislead you with their answers.
Getboards is fuckin awful. I ordered skis last week, they charged my card, and I have yet to receive either a receipt or tracking confirmation. For all I know they took my money and ran with it... Try and phone their number and you get a lameass message about how they are too busy to answer the phones. I've emailed them everyday since my order to see what the hell is going on and have yet to even get a response. I don't care how busy you are, that is not how you do business, what a joke....
Ok getboards just charged me an addtional $187 on nothing. They charged me originally $380 for my pants and jacket, and a week later they charged my moms credit card for another $187. Getboards is a piece of shit. They wont even return my emails
I don't know bout all this you guys..I do know that jibij or d-struct are like 1 fifth the size of getboards. So of coarse you'll here more from the people who got their orders screwed up. I am sure there are far more people who actually get their gear on time..that's just the nature of it youll prolly never see all the people posting bout that. They probabally hire some more staff though just to handle the volume of orders. They have a killer selection.
Damn, I've ordered from getboards a bunch of times with no problems. I'm guessing those who have had problems are in the minority. What happened to supporting newschool? Getboards is a site that supports AND promotes newschool skiing, so where's the love?
Just my opinion, I'm sure it doesn't make it feel better if you haven't gotten your stuff.
I ordered some bindings from Getboards.com and they arrived just fine and in a reasonable time. Maybe the reason you think they suck is because you are throwing a fit over a sweatshirt. Its the beginning of the season and I'm sure they have tons of orders of skis, boots, and bindings to fill. Those are going to take precedent over your sweatshirt, so that is probably the reason for the delay. Just settle down and if they havent shipped by the end of the week, call them up again.
I don't know if this applies to the rest of the year, but lets keep things in perspective. It is the holiday season, which means a higher volume of mail. I know what you mean tho. My skis haven't arrived and it has been over a week.
I ordered the Line Prophet 80s from them a month ago and they still haven't shipped them. They charged my card and haven't responded to 10 emails and won't pick up the phone!!! Now I've got a trip to Canada tommorow and no skis! That place is worthless and I wish I had done more research on it before ordering from them.
