Placed an order with them two weeks ago and the cocksuckers charged the card and still haven't shipped out the order. When you call them they tell you they are extremely busy and overwhelmed with orders, asked them to talk to the manager, who was completely rude and ignorant ended up hanging up on me when he was called out on issues in the past with the order delay. I can't believe I bought shit from them, I called d-structure and jibij to see if they have the stuff I wanted but unfortunately they didn't it. This bullshit has got to stop, I'm asking all of you newschoolers to boycott them and hopefully one day they will be gone for good.
I think the majority of this site has had bad experiences with Getboards, so the boycott is already in effect. There have been a few threads about this already, so if you want to see what all's going on just look them up and see for yourself.
every so often they get it right, but there are way too many bad stories for me to order from them again. I ordered skis and binding. All the skis that weren't out yet were marked pre-order, so I assumed the bindings would be too. So I got my skis in like a week, but no bindings. The order form thingy that came with the skis had pre-order marked by the bindings. So I didn't get bindings for a month.
my freind ordered PEs from there and got them in like 4 days and the came with a ready fire aim dvd. no problems at all. They just seem to be very inconsistant.
a few years ago i ordered some skis from them, before jibij was around, took 2 and a half months to get em, when they finally came they were the wrong size, took another 2 months to get the right size, and they made up some total bullshit excuses too
First Experience with them: I ordered a t shirt. The website said it was a pre order and I wouldn't get it for a month. One week before it was supposed to ship I got it.
2nd: My friend orders $300 or some awesome priced public enemys and gets them no problems.
3rd: I order fujatives. Got them in a few days. No problem.
4th: Other friend orders AR5's and gets them in a few days with no problems.
I've had no problems at all and nobody I know personally has either. I will definitely do business with them again and am amazed at how many people have had problems since I haven't had any.
Yeah man I have the same problem with getboards.com I was actually gunna post about this earlier. I just ordered Siver Cartel Jacket and Pants from them. They charged the credit card, didnt send a confirmation letter to my email, and ive been waiting for 6 days. Im gettin pissed.
i had no problems with them.
two orders and a return for a mistake on my part.

dude, rep your local shop. That's the only way to roll, cuz at least you can kill those fuckers if they mess up your shit. how you going to kill some fucker in taiwan who doesn't even like skis?
i ordered stuff from dstructure and getboards on the same day..3 days later the dstruc stuff came...now 3 weeks later nothing from getboards not even a conformation letter..fuck them dont ever order from them
I dont have a local shop to rep for. The closest place to me that sells stuff for skiing is 1 hour and 15mins away, and they still dont have that great of a selection. So I try and hitch a ride with my friend up to marquette, michigan whenever he goes up to his cabin, cuz they got a lot of stuff to choose from up there. But of course thats 12 hours away from were i live >
haha, I lived in marquette this summer it's bad ass, and it's got a killa park, I live an hour an a half away now. That's rough, in your case it's rough to say what to do, but just get on their case, really, call them, and be an ass if you need to, getboards doesn't want to lose a customer, so they'll be cool if you get on their asses.
You know whats funny about that. Getboards doesnt let you talk to them directly. When you call them, they tell you to email them, which i already did a few days ago and they still havent emailed me back about that yet either. Marquette is so much fun to ski. Me and some of my friends are goin up to marquette the day after christmas so maybe i'll see ya up there. Were not really that great cuz we all basically just started last year, but we try. hah.
I had problems with D-structure earlier this year though. I ordered, then I check on the order to see how its going a few days later, they say its out of stock but they should have it in in a few days. I wait 10 days and then they tell me they have 2 out of 5 items I ordered. I asked when they would have the others and they said they didnt know. I said fuck it, and canceled the whole order.
Then I ordered the same shit off getboards and it got here in 4 days...
I've primarily ordered stuff from d-structure and jibij in the past. But getboards was the one place that had the all the stuff I wanted this year, and for a $100 less than everyone else.
I just ordered some skis from them, and they were delivered in 2 days flat. Never had better service.
Still waiting, talked to them few times, but still same old bullshit, we are really busy right now we will e-mail you as soon as we have an answer... still waiting.
well it does seem like that sucks man but really i can feel some of their pain, i work in a ski shop and we get busy at times and its hard to keep everyone happy at the same time, im sure your stuff will come sooner or later but if you really think ranting on them is the way to go then i hope you achieve alot.
If d-structure or another online store carried any of the stuff I wanted I would definetly buy from them. Getboards is sometimes the only option though. D-structure needs to increase its online inventory.
i ordered from there twice and it was on time both times, i dont think im buying from there again though unless its like the middle of the summer when they arent buisy. ive heard sooo much shit about them, just order from jibij.
I don't give a shit how busy they are, if they are that busy then they should hire extra people to ship out all of the orders to keep the customers happy. Customer Service would also be nice to let me know atleat if they will ship the order or not, but unfortunately those two words don't exist in their vocubalary. And no, ranting will not help this in any way with the order besides releasing my anger.
