'05 vs. '06 Scratch 200 Binding - HELP PLEASE

I bought my skis a month ago with 04/05 rossi scratch 200 bindings on them.
This years are on sale right now for $60 less. Spoke with the manager of the shop, and he said they have the same mount holes, and I can exchange last years for this years.
To me, last years (the purple ones) seem to be better quality, even if it's just the aesthetic plastic on the heal piece. Generally looks less cheap.
The rossi website lists this years scratch 200 as having a DIN of 3.5-10...but I think it's a mistake. I believe it goes up to 11. If not, last years are DEFINITELY better.
can someone comment? I'm heading to the shop tomorrow (friday dec. 9) to figure it out.

don't get the axiums, they are no good. Invest and get the axials instead.
It is really worth it.

I'll take a look at what they've got, but the skis are brand new, never ridden, so I dont envy the idea of drilling new holes.
any comments on the 05 vs. 06 bindings?

Try to bargain for the Look equivalent if you can. Rossi bindings are Looks with inferior parts and I've broken many Rossi bindings.

rossis and looks are exactly the same in compareable bindings buddy. The logos don't change the perforamnce or materials.

There is a reason why Looks are more exspensive, they don't break. I've never seen a broken Look binding, but I've broken Rossi bindings and so have countless of my ski buds.
I was carving soem turns at Mt.Hood in the summer, and my ski started to chatter, the binding released (Not bitching about this, probably should up the DIN then). But when it came off the break lever got crushed into the ski. Then my ski promptly rocketed down the hill. Luckily the binding was mounted on Rossis and there is a Rossi dealer at Gov't Camp, so they could deal with them under warrenty. He wasn't gonan say it but the look on his face showed he wasn't surprised that another Rossi binding got trashed.
That is just one of many horror stories.

You are wrong here.
The rossi bindings, and their look conterparts ARE EXACTLY THE SAME MATERIALS AND FUNCTIONALITY.
If you broke a rossi binding, the same look binding would have broken in the same situation.
So i guess when your carving your turns stick to your markers that you recomended in another thread and continue to be wrong.

I think the reason you see a lot more broken rossi binding is cause there are a hell of a lot more of them out there. Tons of package deals come with rossi bindings...
It's pure numbers...more bindings, hence more horror stories.

they are really just look bindings tho...
