okay, so im probably gonna get a bunch of shit about me not "knowing" anything buyt i need more then my opinion

Im going to get pihl dion pro models, and look p10 bindings, and mostly im going to do all moutain, and the occaisional park, so sohudl i mount them right in the center, or a few back of the center?

idk if there is a suggested mountingpoint on those skis, if so, i think its a few cm back from true center.. thats where you would want to mount them if you want to keep allmnt performance. if you want to do alot of park and jibs, mount at true center.

yeah, thats what i was thinking, casue the guy fomr the shop said that it should be true center, but since im probably gonna do mroe all mountain thatn jsut be in the park all the time, i want to be able to turn without much effort, you know?

well, if you actually CAN ski, you wont have a hard time skiing groomers etc with the binders mounted at true center. i rode my troublemakers 175 true center for 2 years and they worked out great allmnt except for the pow. if there is a big gap betwen suggested point and true center, you should probably mount in betwen them.

yes i CAN ski, but ive heard from semi-credibale sources that its not as easy to turn if there mounted tru center, so im jsut making sure

Just set them at manufacturers set centre line! Trouble makers are great skis on piste set at the proper centre position! Only reason to set them back would be if you spend a lot of time in the pow!

also, the dions are the shortest of the pro models right? i think it looks retarded with no tail cuz thats basically whats gonna acour since the suggested point is kinda far back. also switch landings and riding is gonna get harder.

Hang on a minute! Freestyle skis are shaped totally differently from piste skis. Mounting them far behind centre point, (The apex of the curve) Would ruin their carve pattern! They are designed to have the binding set at the recommended centre line to provide optimum carve! The only reason to set them back would be if you are in soft powder snow, when carving becomes less poignent to give extra float! Surely! Please, someone who knows his onions reply to this! I need clarification!
