I've gone through 3 pairs of goves so far (REI so I can swap for new ones). My hands are still freezing, and today was epic conditions and I just decided to leave due to freezing hands. My gloves are kinda larger on my hands but I'm not sure if thats the problem. I have Burton gloves right now and there not working out. Anyone suggestions?
dont buy gloves from big stupid snowboard companies. but other than that theres nothinyou can really do other than hand warmers. my fingers always get cold but i let them thaw once then they get real warm for the rest of the day
don't buy gloves from ski/snowboard companies. Get gear from winter Camping/expedition companies. i.e. Marmot, Mountain Hardwear, Outdoor Reasearch, The North Face, Arctryx
reusch or markers are the best, i have holes all over in my marker, i put duct tape on some of the holes and yet they are still warm! why? becasue my whole body is warm, if your body is cold then your hands or feet will be cold and take ur gloves out to dry them overnight, if they are just a little wet, then they will be cold no matter what! i have learned my lesson, once i get home the first thing i do is take my glove out and put them next to the heater to dry
buy glove specific companys, or outerwear specific, i bough some helly hansen gloves, never let me down, my hands were actually sweating a couple of times, and i had to take them off, thats proof that there good gloves
I love my swanys. I got them for $15 cuz some dumbass at the shop put them on the wrong rack. Thy were like "well...they're supposed to be $60..." and i said that if they're on the rack that says $15, you have to give them to me for that price. so i bought 3 pairs, and sold the other two for $25 to my friends.
i had the same problem. i though i had a circulation problem since my arms are so long or something... but it turns out my core was cold. i didn't wear anything but a t-shirt under my shell, and even though i thought i was plenty warm, my hands froze. i wore a hoodie and my hands warmed up. also try glove liners. they help a lot.
