i think there cool if u can make em look good, dont lift ur leg so high just like 6 inches of the rail so its noticable but doesnt look like ur "taking a shit while on the rail"

The second one is from a low angle, so it's hard to tell.

guess what? i still have something to say and i'm not just jumping on the bandwagon cuz i've been driving the band wagon since it's inception: ONE FOOTERS ARE GAY. it is true that the skiers in these photos look like sick, smooth riders, however, one foot on the rail looks lame. nice try....

Last year I did a one footer on accident I ski with mostly people who snowboard and they said it looked sick it felt sick too but they do usually look gay but eveyonce in a while just to mix it up its sick in my opinion

Ok, so I've noticed that just about every single person in this thread who hates one-footers has described them with the word "gay." I have a hard time respecting somebody's opinion if they have to resort to describing a trick's sexuality to get across their point that they can't do it themselves. Just because it's hard doesn't mean you have to hate it or try to describe your inner anguish with a 400 word vocabulary.

ski how u like, all i know is at least there trying to progress the sport, if youve seen the coefficient drag video it talks about what true steeze is, its your OWN style, steeze isnt doing what other people thinks cool, if u want to 1 foot grind do it and good on u, if you dont fine do your own thing bt dont hate on people who dont think the same way as you

yer right, i think they are gay and i can't do them, but i don't think they're gay BECAUSE i can't do them, why is that? because i would never even try one. YOU LOOK LIKE A FRUITBOOTER when doing such a maneuver, but even fruitbooting can look kidna cool sometimes, this, my friends, does not.

the body position skiers use for fastslides and backslides are remarkably similar to the body position snowboarders use for nose and tail presses. which are sooo dope.

i find that interesting, and so should everyone else who thinks it's purely inline-influenced.

Fastslide and backslide are nice to do...they are very tricky

look the lip fastslide in the first PLAYBACK teaser (www.newwayproductions.com)...

I did that one day and I found it was pretty cool to do :P

One footers are sick. Add a grab to that and they'll be even sicker. They're adding something fresh to the sport. Who cares if they are rollerblading influenced (if they really are).
Everyone that said they are gay will be doing them pretty soon because everyone will be doing them because they are sick. So those who said they were gay will soon be bandwagon followers.
