ski at a jump as fast as you can, so your going to clearly overshoot it and scream POP as you with the lip, then while in the air silently whisper to yourself "goes the weasle".
Really you just need to approach the jump with your knees bent a bit, then extend them, making you just up as you approach the right spot, just a tiny bit before the lip.
Just practice extending your legs as you hit the jump until you hit the sweet spot.
Try it on flat ground first. Check the tips and tails are leaving the ground and landing at the same time. If your tails don't go as high, you are leaning too far back. If your tips don't go as high as the tails, you are leaning too far fowards. If your skis are parallel to the ground, you are popping right.
