i'm sorry i didn't know that asking was reason for concern. besides i told them that oxycontin was the only pharm that didn't make me puke. so as i see it, it didn't hurt to ask
with highly addictive pain meds you have to be careful because they may not prescribe anything at all other than that ex strenth tylonol with codien which isn't shit. my gf got her wisdom teeth out not too long ago and asked for something stronger. the dentist was a prick and wrote out a scrip for week ass shit that was less effective than advil.
cuz people are stupid and get addicted. personally i've never been addicted to painkillers, hate hydrocodone and all taht jazz. oxy's are the only thing my body agrees with, and i use the prescrip till it's gone. but some people can't control themselves(see collin farrell) and ruin it for the rest of us
that's true. it's just from a dentist's prespective, if you are asking for something specific when it comes to a narcodic, it sounds to them like you may be planning to abuse it.
they gave me darvocet the other week when my skateboard nailed me in the face. it's alright. luckilly i had some oxycontin left over from my last surgery cause it's so much better. i've been taking the left over darvocet everyday when i ski for my shins..but it doesn't even help. i'd keep pushing for the oxycontin
Bad idea to be pushing for Oxy, be happy with whatever you are getting. Imagine how many discussions doctors have had with people trying to squeeze oxys out of them. Won't work, so don't even waste your time.
oxycontin is definitely better. the darvocet took the pain away but basically made me paralyzed. but oxycontin takes the pain and makes me feel good and i'm still able to to stuff. but when i take darvocet i just sit in the chair and i can't move any part of my body. kind of an uncomfortable feeling
