did CORBETTS mess up?!?!?

Ok I had ordered, from Corbetts, the 2002 Head Mad Trix without the system. So I gave the guy my info so he could mount them there and then ship them to me. I know that they were goin to be mounted in big mountain mode, which is ONLY 4CM. BACK from the center mount. Ok, here's the problem;
The skis came, and were sweet, but.....they are def. not only 4 cm. back from the center. There is a HUGE diff, There is 14 inches behind the heel piece, and 25 INCHES in front of the toe piece. It is nowhere near being close to 4cm back from the center. Does anyone know anything about this? Dis Corbetts mess up when they mounted my bindings, or is this the way it's supposed to be? Any help would be really appreciated.

I see where u are confused. Here's the deal. When you mount bindings on most skis there is a small line on your skis that matches a small line on the side of your boots in the middle and that's how they decide where to mount your bindings. The small line on your ski is the 'center' which is not the true center. You do not want to be mounted in the true center cause you can't ski at all and it's not really that much better. However, there is no little line indicating the 'center' on the mad trix. They most likely mounted them in the right spot for you. I have the mad trix and they are 2cm forward. Let me know if I totally confused you.

naw corbetts is a really good company but like any there is a chance for error. when mounting my skiis, they set my dins all wrong like mismatched dins.. but oh well it can be fixed

when i got my madtrix mounted at monovans, i had to re-explain it about 5 times over the phone, haha. The madtrix DO have a center line, but its on the side of the cap, it shold be an arrow and beside it, the length is printed. Anyway. When i said 5 cm back from center..they ass umed 5 cm back from the line. So my 5 cm back was what they would call 6 cm forward. Luckily, i anticipated such a mistake and called back.
PS.. corbets screwed my maddtrix order big. its supposed to be overnight shipping for where i live in relation to them. but it took 10 days. they screwed up my address. I called a couple of days after the order and nothing was dont for almost 2 weeks! but they promised me some free stuff for the problem...although i never got it...hmmm..
