ive got a pair if AR5's that im about to mount some freedom plates on for my R10's. i know they would be sweet to centermount, but they are also going to be my groomer skis, and i dont want to loose their carving ability. i also have a pair of Mike Nicks that i could move to centermount this year. gimmie suggestions yo.

ive they are only for groomers dont centermount, but to answer you question, if you know how to ski, then no, centermounting doesnt ruin groomers.

basically, your skis arent entirely as stable centermounted. They slide a little more, but thats about it.
Id center mount them. After 2 days of skiing them, u wont really even notice the difference

You really can only tell the differecnce
A. in the bumps
B. when you're trying to go fast (because center-mounting essentially shortens your skis)

My MSPs are mounted a few cm back from center, which is pretty much center. They rip the groomers up. And im used to GS skis.
