Replying to Boot Company fit?

I know the most important thing about boots is to get the one’s that fit you. And I know I should try a few different pairs. But I was just wondering about the general fit of certain boot companies eg, salomon, rossignol, lange, tecnica, dalbello ect. Its just that I need new boots and I have a wide foot. I currently ski on rossi’s but I think they are a bit thin.
Any contributions would be appreciated, however I am just looking for some general information so I can decide what to consider.
Oh, and I would like to avoid the standard response to boot threads that, I should just go to a shop and try on boots. As I live in Australia and as such there aren’t many ski shops around.
