Help for the beginner

So, I've skied a couple years with rental stuff, but got my own skis yesterday.. what tips would you give to a beginner?

depends on what kinda skiing you wanna do. This site will give you tips mostly on tricks and ski tech. If you wanna start doin tricks or skiing big mountain, you've found the right place. My main tip for you now: try your hardest to get rid of snowplowing, try parallel and carving turns. Good luck!

yea, start with the basics and work your way up to there.

Its easiest not to learn how to ski and just do jumps like Chris Turpin at first.

this is the place to come man... just ask for tips everyone will help you out..most people are so supportive here... but my bro started off htiing jumps and he just learnt 3's his 7th time out and hes learning everything else just from hitting jumps.
