Um, because there is a massive amount of information that must be moved everytime you load a page.

Tryg etting a good connection. I've got cable and it's fast enough for me.

ok let me break it down easy for you, at midnight, their are very few ppl on, however it is WAY slower than when there are 300 some odd ppl online, not as much info is bein shared.

im havin the same problem and i have cable!! and its 12:30 at night. 16 people on

i think you just proved his point skierx,

why is it that at peak times it is actually faster than the dead times. the same info is being loaded but why does it take 3 times as long. i periodically get this problem. it may be that harvey is updating the site or some other function is going on at the server.

instead of jumping to conclusions by saying get a faster connection(assuming he has a slow one) why not use a little more tact and politely ask what type of connection he has, then maybe you can help.

I noticed that the site was extremely slow last night, and is sometimes slow in dead times. To be honest, I haven't put my finger on the cause of the problem yet. I'll definitely try to figure it out though. Thanks for your patience.
