k i have a ton of stuff on my harddrive, way too much its almost full, ive uninstalled most of my games and stuff but its not doing a whole lot. so i think i got some spyware or something but i dunno - ive checked using microsoft anti-spyware AND spybot search and destroy and deleted everything it found. also morpheus stopped working and it wont let me uninstall it (ill go to add/remove programs and click uninstall but the window closes imediatly after it opens so i cant do anything with it). is there a way to wipe everything back to manufacturer settings - like what programs you bought it with. or even better a program that allows you what to choose, i got a ton of music and i'd rather not go through the hassle of putting it onto CDs and then putting them back on the comp. after i clean it.

meh, just buy a new HD and transfer all the shit you care about then format the old one and you will have plenty of space. oh yea, it also helps to install the OS.

try deleting your temporary internet files. Sometimes there is a TON of stuff in there that you never knew about

i do every other day at least. i learned about that last year when my computer suddenly slowed down for some reason. i emptied that (the first time in over a year) and it sped right up.
