Rex Thomas, overrated?

I haven't seen much of him lately, but he's pretty damn good. Just watch some of the videos he's in and you'll realize that he is not overrated at all.

its not the skiing that people are talking about most likely, i bet its that hes talking about doing some really sick stuff with atomic, look forward to see what their gonna do with the company in the next couple seasons

All of you who are badmouthing Rex and Atomic, take a f'ing seat and be prepared to be blown away. He told me only a little bit two years ago, and i was blown away, and shit is only getting crazier...just wait and see

rex is killing it behind the scenes working with atomic to drag their ass into our segment of the sport more and working with one of the most bad ass mountians as well to get it going off.

just not feeling the 3 skis idea...by the time you trash one to the point of breaking it, your other ski should be fairly trashed as well, and they you end up riding the one, new good ski and one almost trashed one

Rex has done a lot for the sport and the industry... I dont know how you could claim he is overated he is legit, and its not like people are claiming his tanner any how

Rex has his head screwed on better than most of the people in the industry. His taking over management of Atomic's freeride team is one of the BEST things that could have happened.. to him AND to the team. The team is fully stoked to have him in this position as Rex is a true "doer" in this sport. He has vision and he pushes hard to take skiing where it needs to go. Yes he has had his differences with many people in the industry (hmm.... I am not naming any names....).
But that is also why he is so widely respected. He is a sensationally gifted skier/athelete as well as an ambassador.

I have had the pleasure and opportunity to get to know him, ski with him and hang out with him. I am very amped up to see what he does with Atomic next year.

i dont think he's a murderer, hes claiming to do a lot with atomic over the next few seasons and im looking forward to see what hes talking about come true, on top of that he's a great guy to hang out with, i dont think he's a murderer

but then they send you back a new one on warranty and you had a pair the whole time, granted it's mismatched, but the second thrashed one can still be broken and sent back and then you're still on a brand new pair between your 3rd and 1st warrantied you know? I think if any even remotely core brand did it they would be the number one seller but Atomic needs more than this to make up for lost time in our market.

I skied with him yesterday and I'd have to say all you haters are just a bunch of little buggers who have no idea. NO idea. For one, Rex actually knows how to ski snow that hasn't been shaped by a groomer- ohmigosh no way!

Well first im going to ask did anyone see the new atomic add? How are you gonna have an add of the "new team" with a topless bum of tired pro skier team manager takeing up an entire add? No offense to the guy though he does some ILL Cab branny's in second generation, and pulls off the "blender"(lokking over the "wrong" shoulder while skiing switch) like only Richie Paradise(a.k.a. "I'm the best pro skier on the east coast.") can.And noone famous for there yellow pants can be overrated EVER, it's justnot possible.

I got a glimpse of next years Atomics and they actually looked pretty sick no more cap ski good old sandwich constuction and sick graphics. Also Rex can ski better then most people hung over as fuck with no sleep because he was up alnight railing your girlfriend all night long!

Mate I would have to say that Rex is probably one very UNDERATED skier out there. Rex can kick it with the very high and elite. he has the skills, even his bow hunting skills are probably the best I have ever scene. Rex can kick it better than pretty much any body both on and off the mountain

all eight edges cracked underfoot in multiple places, and the sidewall(well the part of the topsheet that connects to the edge) seperated on both skis and foam from the core is falling out the holes
