according to salomon, the 04 xwave 8 also has some kind of polyurithane cushion as well, maybe it's just not as thick or something

Where can I find this aftermarket shock absorber? Or does any custom footbed do it as well? I wanted one for a while, my crazy race boots have something carboard in the bottom.

i think that the cushion thing that is in the 1080, according to the specs sheet, is actually under the footbed, between it and the bottom of the plastic shell, so i'm wodering if it's possible to add something that would do the same job

Its just fucking marketing, your really think a half centimeter thick rubber thing in the bottom of your boot is going to stop the pain from overshooting a table? When i switched to them I noticed no difference.
