do these things actually make a big difference? anyone who has these, can you really feel that they are soft when landing hard in the park?

there not to soft, but they do absorb alot

ive tried mine on and they feel a little softer than what it normally feels like. but ive haerd they do asorb alot in the park.

where can you get an aftermarket shock absorbing sole?

1080 foil boots feel rock hard when you feel the sole but the give you no shock to your feet. It's kinda weird.

I had the standard ones in my old X-Waves and got bruised heels from landing switch heavily a lot. No problems at all after I got the 1080 ones instead. Get some good footbeds made too, they help a lot for shock absorbsion.
