sick, but not to say disappointed but its un-finished, there is still some work to be and we gotta get the brad dingess stunt show out of there for a little bit so we can build some features that work. "if people dont get hurt, the stuff isnt too big and i am not happy" well guess who the first one to get hurt was. SUPRISE!!
yeah we're gonna work the kinks outta the jump line and hopefully have it up and running by this weekend. the rail setup, however, is very very awesome. definitely the best setup we have ever had, and one of the best i have ever ridden. everyone come out and support snowtrails so we can continue building the sickest park within a reasonable distance.
the best park ever! the rails were set up perect. there was one jump but you could hardly make it. the other 2 jumps were unhitable becasue you couldnt make them so they were closed. definatly number 1
wowowowowowow i was just on snowtrails.com and that park looks soo sick those rails are amazing... does anyone know how big the jumps are there... one of them looked like it had to be at least 60 ft.
Im glad you guys liked the rail set up... we will hopefully have all the kinks worked out by friday... the brad dingess stunt jump will defenetly be changed, the park will be in 100% working order by friday, just in time for the weekend warriors.
damn man, just saw the site pics. im blowin off all my plans for this week and movin back down to mansfield for the week. that shit is rediculous. props to everyone who made that happen. shit looks sick!!! ill be down there thurs-sunday. im more than willing to help too.
wow, that park set up looks dope. i wanna know when the first person switch 270s the tall flat bar.
is that narrow, round down, flat, down tricky? looks like itd be hard to lock onto. yeahh ohio!
is it possible to get enough speed to link up those hits?
the secret lies in the wax
Derrin Carrlli is on the Marquette Mountain webpage from SuperPark sliding the smith limo. go to the website go to park and then hes wearing his OFS hoddie. YHEA DOG
yeah, i had a blast. super fun to just be out riding. we are goin back monday too. im gonna try to get to pns this week too, cuase i hear that place is pretty gnar as well.
i was there yesterday (tuesday) place is sooo sick, although it was kinda hard getting speed for the jumps. you gatta skip the first one to get enough speed for the second. but the dfd rail setup urban style looks dope.
the first jump is fairly small, about 15 feet to the landing, but it's super mellow and smooth, nice for getting your jumping feet back. the second jump is substantially longer, with a really long landing. the third hit is a step up, and it is very awesome. you can hit all three in a row and clear them with relative ease. however, if you skip the first jump, you can really boost off of the second one.
you would need alot of speed to clear the landings. the stepup is fun. i like to 180 on then switch 180 off. that rail setup on the step up is kinda scetch though, you cant see it until your actually over it. they should spray paint a line on the snow to show where it is.
yea but i agree about not seeing the rail after u do it a couple times u get it but its sketch the first few times i couldnt see it either!! Still super fun!!
I paint a line on the butter pad to show where that rail is every morning im there... an hour later after 300 gapers hit that pad, the line is gone. We were thinking of making that rail street style so you could definetly see it, but that would make an all ready short rail even shorter. The landing on that rail is an issue too cuz its kinda flat, were gonna raise that landing all around that rail up a few feet soo its much better comming off. As far as the jump line goes... the jumps are defenetly hitable and are fun, but it is a chore to find speed.(You have to remember what state we are in). After this christmas weekend jazz, we are trying to get a snow gun put out by the drop in and make snow, to build a Much Much more taller drop in. and a larger area on top to stand on before dropping in. this will hopefully eliminate the speed issue.
I hear rain for theis weekend, so who knows, the park could be washed away by monday.
can you come setup one jump, 2 boxes and a couple rails at alpine please. i will pay you personally in cash, im sure a bunch of riders around here would too hah
I'm always down to make riding better in ohio, but im sure snowtrails would get fire'd up if i was helping another resort. If you can get Alpine to let me and brad drive the cats, were all yours...
This is a snowtrails thread but you mentioned wanting to know when our staircase at PNS went out and today is that day so we now have a wallride, 30' flat bar with a tall drop at the end, 30' swingset rail, 48' S-rail, 20' C-rail to the skiers right, and the staircase with a kink rail and rollercoaster with a slight elf-toe. Then the jumps are 15'-20 nice sized step-up, into a decent 30' or so. You should all come and check it out, if you get a chance.
Ill bet this shitty weather isnt helpin much for improving the drop in or landing...oo well its ohio we know what u got to work with it will be sick once the weather starts to coperate!!
A "High/Low" line will be up tommorro on the second table, to practice for big air. low30ish high40-45ish. Weather has sucked in the last few week, so the snow from the jumps was needed to fill in holes were there was exposed dirt, that why there was no jumps this past weekend...
