hey, Im writing a paper for my french class, I have a few words that I have no idea what they are in french any help would be great.

Oui mais sacrer et parler comme un chartier c'est une part de nos racines catholiques; ce sont des mots purement fraçais. J'aime mieux entendre à mes oreilles des sacres en français que des sacres en anglais.
Et en passant, oui ce sont des skis à double spatules et non, des bi-spatules (complètement ridicule).

Hahaha osti que c'est drôle! J'adore les sacres. Il me semble que ça ajoute à quelque chose. Exemple: C'est des beaux skis [i]versus[/i] C'est des ostis de beaux skis. Lesquels sont plus beaux? Les ostis de beaux skis...il me semble que c'est une evidence.

non je suis pas d'accord avec toi, ou alors c'est du français du québec, here in france are using the same word as you, half-pipe, twin-tip (ou doubles spatules) et rails...

^^here in quebec we never use the words ..demi-lune or double spatule..we use half pipe..twin tip..and many other english words

umm...le mot dans tout les cas est derive de l'anglais donc la traduction n'est pas exacte, donc est ce vraiment le "vrai" mot?? Demi-tuyau?

and yes actually you made a great point about the language being a national french and not sounding ridiculous, my bad. About magasinage though, another more formal way to say it in France, is to say "aller faire des achats". Shop, shopping, magasin, magasiner...dans ce cas la je trouve que la traduction est inutile et tres basee sur l'anglais... Bien sur je ne nierai pas que il y a exactement la meme chose dans le francais de france...

Yeah "Faire des achats" sounds cool to me. More than "Faire du shopping" in that case being a pale copy of the english terms "Go shopping".
