we're getting real close to an attack on iraq and if north korea invades south korea then we are gonna take them out too. its gonna be pretty crazy and its about time US takes action. because of us we may not have to live in fear some day down the road. and have no doubt about a two fronted war...the us is totally capable of defeating iraq and north korea at the same time. the deal is that we are going to get in there (iraq and possibly n korea) and use tactics such as surgical bombing in order to lesson the amount of civilian casualties. and if iraq does attempt to hit us with a bioweapon or a nuke then guess what...iraq is gonna be wiped off the map cause we are gonna nuke them off the planet. USA all the way.

lol...well first of all its 'allegiance'. second of all there are some things you must know. guard pilots come from what you would call the primary airforce. its not like you just become a pilot in the gaurd. the gaurd is EXTREMELY selective. you would have a MUCH better changce of getting into harvard than the gaurd. of 575 applicants the gaurd in new york selects 3 pilots. luckily i was competative enough to get one of those 3 slots. the interview process is very long and things such as college GPA and flying abilities are at the forefront in determining who gets those slots (competing pilots have around 3000 hours of fighter time coming into the interviewing process!!). to call a gaurd pilot 3rd rate doesnt make sense because they have more experience and skill than primary airforce pilots. your so called normal airforce pilots are the ones trying so hard to get the gaurd job because you get you own airplane and your schedule is much more enjoyable. thats funnny that you mention that i should become a medic because i am doing that somewhat. when i am not flying for the gaurd i am attending medical school at the university here. its really a great deal....i get to fly planes that most people only dream of flying and in the meantime the government pays for my medical school tuition. cant beat that. :) i can understand your submission though...not many men have the balls, let alone the skill, to power an aircraft that can accelerate in a vertical climb while carrying up to 22,000 pounds of weapons. 9 g's baby. 9 g's. plus i heard chics like fighter pilots, but thats just what i heard ;)

p.s. gaurd guys dont sit at home waiting for people to attack the US. if you were smart you would know that the gaurd has been over in iraq flying mission after mission for quite sometime. we are here for homeland defense (although isnt every other person in the military?), but when something happens we are the first, along with the primary airforce, to be dispatched. gaurd guys are the best of the best.

1.) I beleive it was already mentioned that using weapons on the US is a deathwish.

haha, it is interesting that the only decent comeback SUPilot can come up with is spelling errors. Funny, I didn't think 'fighter jocks' could even talk semi-articulate let alone spell very well, must have a dictionary there huh dude? Despite what SUPilot tries to pass off. I live next to two Air Force bases. Westover AFRB (house a transport wing of C-130's and C-5A's), and Barnes AFB (houses a wing of national guard A-10's, who DID see service in the major conflicts of this era.) . My father is good friends with some higher ups at both places, I've known people from those places, and I have discovered something in that time living around there. The 'fighter jocks' are actually the more mature, older guys with more experiance, while the people flying the larger transport planes, (the C5's C130's) are the younger guys.

So SU, if you plan on flying fighters with that type of attitude, you're pretty far mistaken, because as backwards as the leadership in the US Military can be at times, I don't think that they'd put YOU behind anything that could cause even the slightest danger to anything.

Hell, I bet they need waitresses on Air Force One... you should look into it.

well you dont go from transport to fighters... they put the youngest guys in the fighters because they're bodies can take it. you can fly transport for quite sometime, but as soon as you turn 27 your out of luck if you want a fighter.

Yeah, there's just something I love about what we see of the USSR. It almost falls in the category of classically tragic industrial romantizing. Maybe I've seen to many movies based on Tom Clancy books. And its funny you mention the blacklist; I love retro examples of Good 'Ol American Wholesome xenophobic values. This same love fuels my opinions more strongly than facts. But, can you really blame a kid in todays detached society for wanting to run with his feelings, what little of them he has? Feelings instilled by stories, decades old, found in school books that will never amount to anything.


And is it possible to hate a country because they relieve you pain?

LOL oh yeah, we only outspent Iraq 80 to 1 on the military.... wow so well funded. Yeah, they did have some WMDs..... in the 90s..... Imagine if they attacked our soldiers with those WMDs they no longer had! OMG hypothetical situations are so scary!!!
