Time to Smoke Iraq

we're getting real close to an attack on iraq and if north korea invades south korea then we are gonna take them out too. its gonna be pretty crazy and its about time US takes action. because of us we may not have to live in fear some day down the road. and have no doubt about a two fronted war...the us is totally capable of defeating iraq and north korea at the same time. the deal is that we are going to get in there (iraq and possibly n korea) and use tactics such as surgical bombing in order to lesson the amount of civilian casualties. and if iraq does attempt to hit us with a bioweapon or a nuke then guess what...iraq is gonna be wiped off the map cause we are gonna nuke them off the planet. USA all the way.

hey skinator I thought you had had enough of us?? now the national guard has a job and they do it well and I am thankful for that. it is however, NOT the same as being on the front lines of the battlefield in war. like I said earlier, national guard pilots don't need to worry about SAMs from mexico or canada or anywhere else. of course it's not the same.

actually the gaurd guys are in the shit just as much as the enlisted guys are. some people sign up for the gaurd because they are capable of being good pilots and some people enlist because that is what they want to do. you cant have one without the other and they both serve a purpose and they both see as much action as the next guy. infact the gaurd guys are seeing MORE action than the enlisted guys because they are flying countless missions etc over iraq and many other parts of the world while enlisted boys are waiting for the word so they can enter in. if you think the gaurd guys see less action that enlisted guys then you are illinformed or maybe queer.

actually phattim i do question the reasons for bush's unwielding want to attack iraq and i suppose a part of me does think that perhaps it is for economic reasons...which isnt a justified reason for war. i do believe that saddam is an evil person and i believe that he should and must die for what he has done to others and to also his people. none of us can be certain as to why we are so ready to go to war with saddam, but if it is for humanitarian reasons then i believe it is justified and i believe that it is something we should do. i also feel that we MUST wait for a UN go ahead before we attack saddam because if we dont then we would be indirectly putting our national security at risk for obvious reasons. if the UN does say that they have bioweapons and nukes then something must be done. if they are unwilling to allow them to be destroyed then its time to take action. as a rogue nation, which does have terrorist ties, they should not be able to have such weapons. now i know the US has more nukes that anyone and personally that really isnt right, but i think people are inherently good and as long as inherently good people have a say over the bad then we will all be safer. personally at this point in time i would say let the inspectors do their thing and if we find something then so be and we will take care of it. what we really need to start worrying about is north korea. whats your take on that? you think that the US would be wrong to step in on that even if they (nkorea) were going to invade south korea??

Iraq is a minor threat-if that. definatly not something that anything should be done about. especally considering the other imanent problems we have in this world. anyway-I would say more but I got get to bed erly tonight so I can wake up early to drive 2.5 hours to go skiing tommarow so, chears everybody.

I agree completley. Iraq is a minor threat. And even then, a threat to what?? And who is America helping by attacking them? Really only America, face it, the USA cares about no one but themsevles. Ask anyone about what US tourists are like, fuck I hate them, no wonder Canadians just about kill you when you ask them what part of America they're from, fuck, I would too.

And SUpilot. Why the fuck shouldn't Iraq have biological and nuclear weapons. For Christ's sake it's not like the USA doesn't. And your president comes across as more of a madman than Saddam right now. Obviously the combined IQ of the American government doesn't quite reach double figures. Fucking morons. SUpilot, nothing against you personally but dude, how can you justify it, how can you ever justify it? And waiting for the UN to agree with it is a good idea, but it's not like Bush will ever listen. And what when the whole world is against you and disagree's with what the US wants to do. What then? You gonna take everyone on?

well gravtec just explained why saddam shouldn't have wmd. if we tested our own weapons on our own people then we should be killed too. i agree that right now iraq seems to be much less of a threat than say north korea, but i still feel that we should disarm iraq of their wmd if they are using them on their own people and on the kurds dont you? you cant deny that saddam is a mad man and i agree that bush is over agressive and his reluctance to wait for the UN is not a smart decision and if he does attack without the UNs decision, making the attack 100% american, then i think it would be wrong. if the UN does decide something needs to be done then fine we have to do what we gotta do. and i would expect any other country to do the same to the US if we too were doing what iraq was doing. bush might not come off as a smart guy, but if you dig deep you'll find out that he is academically outstanding and he also served in the national guard. bush would be the perfect pres if he would tone down a bit and let the UN take the drivers seat. If the US acts in unison with the other countries in the UN then its all good. yea i definately see alot of hatred towards americans and our supposed purely capitalistic and selfish auras and that tells me that something isnt right especially if britain is not with us all the way. whats everyones take on north korea?

yeah you're kinda right there dude. Bush isn't very bright at all. He's a self-indulged power freak who's trying to finish off what Daddy didn't quite do in 1990-91. And it would be a primarily US attack on Iraq, no one else will support except for Britain. But how many troops do they have down there, bugger all.

North Korea is actually a threat to America. Iraq isn't, well they weren't until Bush got all aggro on their ass anyway. North Korea hates some serious US butt. I'd say they're the one to watch for, and if you really want to be humanitarianist, then please please (for our sake) don't piss off China. Now that would be truely looking out for the world. The best thing America could do is shut the fuck up and stop trying to police the world.

And America has tested weapons all over it's own soil. Where do you think all the US missle, nuclear, chemical, biological experiments go down, Canada? I think not. The main reason Iraq tests on it's own ground is coz it can't afford to go anywhere else. America can but they still blow up their own land, go figure.

haha, don't be so synical gravtek, it's the principle, the exact same thing. And not too far into the future when world over-crowding is a huge problem, someone will wish that desert wasn't a barren nuclear wasteland.

i think most of their tests now are done underground. and over population will not be a problem...the turn over rate is almost equal and as living conditions improve people will continue to have less children. the US doesnt really have any beef with china, but if north korea does invade then other countries such as russia etc... will have our backs.

equality hurts the powerful. it's clear that the US is using it's power in a hurtful way in some cases. when an oppressed people gain some sort of power (nukes etc.) the powerful will try and preserve their lifestyle by veiwing the once powerless people as evil. It happened with slavery, every day life, and it will continue to happen. The 'evil' group is really just searching for equality, they have just as much right to live 'free'. Why does America have the right to have nukes over any other country? they do have their own agenda, just as Iraq does.

I forget what the actual percentage is, but people who make over 125 or 150g's a year pay almost 50% in taxes. I think the tax system is good, the rich actually pay a larger percentage. Liberal tax programs are a joke, at one point there was a point where people who made over a million dollars had to pay 90% in taxes, luckily these people are usually business owners and get a lot of tax write offs.

my point wasn't the validity of a progressive tax system.. i was referring to all the corporate tax cuts that big business have received from bush. low income families making under $12000 receive virtually no break in taxes while people making over $109250 receive large reductions. it simply does not make sense.

SUpilot. As you see it America is protecting. But when 1 million people die between 1990 and 1995 from the US's legeslation they must also protect their country. do you see where I'm going?

And if you're talking about the gassing of the kurds when they 'tested crazy weapons' then you should know the whole situation - yes it was stupid but I have a feeling you know less than you lead on.


An Andy. people generalize because they see America as a democratic entity where their policy is the what the common/average person agrees with. So saying Americans want to kick the shit out of Iraq is a perfectly legit statement.

ok I don't like to compare one death to another but 182,000 people died under saddam. but over 500,000 CHILDREN have died from the US regimes from 1990 - 2000 and this is still going on!

foreign policy.. encourages the supression of different nations in order for the US to remain prosperous. a perfect example is the US currently giving money to the columbian government in order to help fight rebel guerillas. if u really want us to get into this in great detail, i'm sure mike and i would, but i'm at skool right now and about ready to pass out.

alright, I know Iraq is doing 'bad things' but they won't do something bad to us if we would pull our act together. ya that is right, that means no more bossing all the other countries around: that is why Iraq would b mad at us in the first place. maby once we start doing good things other countries would respect us (atleast enough of them so that if there really was a situation like what bush makes the one at hand out to be we would have some support)


and attacking Iraq is gonna make them do a lot more 'bad things' than they are now so we should just sit on the whole fucking thing
