If ya'll didn't know, meadows is currently considering and hapharzadly pursuing an open boundary policy for the resort. Check out 'daves blog' on skihood.com to read up a bit more on it.
Just wanted to know what your thoughts are on this. This could mean that White River Canyon and the likes could be accessed from the top of Cascade. The canyon opposite heather (I forget the name) could be hit up. The possibilities are endless and could transform the entire resort. But do you think the skiing public at meadows is smart enough to understand the risks involved when they venture unto terrain that is not patrolled?

that would be awesome, especially with the snow year we are looking to have.
there will be lots of problems though, with people who just want to ski some pow, but have no BC experience, just going in there and getting in bad situations.
I don't have enough BC experience, and if they opened it, I don't think I would ski it, unless I was with someone who was experienced.
