it would probrably still hurt with a cup. i dont know though cause i dont have a rail big nough. the one in my backyard i am going to go build taller in a little bit. it misses my nuts by an inch or 2

I don't think cups protect you right for rails. They're more designed for a straight hit from the front from something like a puck. Rails get you from underneath. That's why skaters and bikers don't bother with them.

yeah, normal cups are small and thin on the bottom so they would probably just explode your nuts if all your wieght fell on them.

yea but snowboarders can still smash their nuts like if you bend your knees and the board is behind your back you could do it. Itd be harder than on skis but you can still do it pretty easy

yeah but when you are on a high rail on skis a prime concern is your nuts i dont thik it is as much of a problem on a snowboard.
