When I'm skiing at Alta, I do feel like I'm just going downhill, but it's weird you're not going anywhere at all. Maybe you should switch waxes? Or maybe your skis are too skinny, and you've been getting bogged down in all the pow?

Try skiing for fun instead, the only place I worry about "going" is to the bottom of the hill for another run

is it normally not that cold there? i'm moving to alta in a few weeks (so obviously checking the snow reports every day) and i'm hoping it's not like that all the time
