i have a choice between ar5's thall's and scratch fs. cost isnt really a consideration. i ski mostly park on the east coast. how do they hold up, etc. thanks and i couldnt find anything on the search.
I wouldn't call any of them amazing out of park. but the AR5 and scratch are going to be able to be taken all over the mtn. i think the AR5 is wider so if u want a super stable ski go for it.. but east coast u should be fine on the scratch at least as for what u need.
the ar5's are light. I'm on a pair of t-halls right now and they are okay for all mountain but the ar5's are stiffer, and better carving. The pop on the t-halls is sick, and they are really light. I ski public enemies for all mountain though, because the tanners are not the best on an icy day outside of the park. ANd the rounded edges were cool, They don't affect carving at all, but made rails a lot smoother on the first day.
i same height and similar weight as you i have the ar5's and they are th sickest skis ever i tried my friends scratches and they havnt got shit on the armadas.
