I just got some smith fuse's w/ the sensor mirror. I do mostly night skiing and might ski once during the day in 1 week. I was just wondering if lens swaping is easy or should I just buy a cheep pair of goggles on the internet with a dark lens? It would really help if someone has the fuse's and does the same thing.
swapping out lenses isnt that hard, take the goggle, and hold it buy the lens, pull on the top of the goggle with your other hand, the frame should pop off the top of the lens, then just pull the lens from the sides (if there are spots where it is connected) then work your way down to the nose.
If you are serious about night skiing and do it a lot, get a clear lens. Won't cost you much and its way better than using the sensor mirror. Yellow is another option and it doubles as a flat light (puking snow) lens and works fairly well at night.
The reason why I got those in stead of clear ones is because I bought a card and I get a special night rate and it starts at 4 pm so there is still about and hour and a half of sun light.
