yeah my bad, but over all salomon has a better comp team and over all better team, though k2 does have its bright spots.

1080 team is way better and has way better worldwide exposure.

Companies,,, Salomon easily. It's hands down the best at leading trends, starting new categories of skiing. It's also the #1 boot and binding brand.

Those of you who say your Salomon equipment exploded after use and that Salomon did not warranty the damages are clearly not informed with Salomon's warranty programs.

Salomon ski and binding - 2years
Salomon boots - 2 years
Salomon bindings - 5 years

You clearly are lying about your experiences.

K2 is a great brand, they make great skis with aged technological ideals. Their marketing is all about the team and very little about the performance of the skis.

I knew about the warrenty but after my second pair of 1080's i told salomon to suck one. Theyre bindings and boots are still sick, but the skis arent the same. Their core's suck.

Furthermore, K2 came out with a twin tip a couple years before salomon so stop sayin shit you dont know about. Check freeskier

Its because Salomon spend all their money on advertising and as a result produce poorly made skis! A Salomon rep told me that!

Salomon's bindings are the most amazing thing ever. They are the most consistent releasing bindings therefore the safest. I have had a pair of s710 for 4 years now and they still work beautifully only releasing when i want them to. salomon makes the best bindings on the market.

I agree that the bindings release well, but i also think they release too well. The two guys in my crew who have salomon binding are definitely the 2 guys that pre-release the most. Pre-releasing can be very dangerous too.

Salomon has also shown to have a durability issue too. A lot of plastic parts. Thats awesome that your s710's have lasted and performed so well for you, but If i had to get salomon, i wouldn't get anything less than the s912's. Rossi/Look makes the best overall bindings in my opinion. Everything I need is there, no complaints at all. And the general population will agree with me. Theres a reason why very few pros ride salomon bindings.
