My dad's friends son wants a new pair of skis. He's only been skiing like 15 times and his dad said he probably wont be skiing park with them. Can anyone help me find him a ski thats not a twintip but good for all mountain. And he wants em cheap.

^ good advice right there. If he's a beginner, he doesn't need a high-end ski, and shouldn't pay too much for it.

well the thing is, i dont know this kid. My dad told his dad that I would know what to get him but seeing as how i only ride twins, and im beyond beginner skis, i dont really know what to say. The problem with it is that his dad doesnt want to get him used ones since they're a christmas gift. I guess he already picked out some OMNI skis or something. I said those sounded like some gay ski, but i guess if hes just starting he shouldnt care. I just know that my first pair was one of those beginner k2 sets and honestly, i hated em. I guess they were alright for the first couple times on em but after the first year on em(which i only skied like 5 times that season) i hated em and got new ones just after that. But i guess since i dont know this kid i could give a fuck less. Ill just tell my dad that that ski is just fine.
