Weird Fujative edge crack

I have a cracked edge on both of my fujatives. The weird thing is, the cracks are pretty much in the exact same spot. At core-centre and on the right edge when looking at the bases. Anyone else get this problem, proving its a design flaw? It wasn't as if both edges cracked at the same time. They cracked on different days on different rails.

i dunno but my edges seem really soft or something, cause i've only hit a couple rails so far this year and they're already reaaaaally badly chipped.

thats weird. My edges are awesome. No cracks or anything, but they are pretty beefy edges.

well if you have hit rails, it is probably from that, as you would hit the rail in the same spot on the same edge of both skis.

you wouldnt be able to get new skis for them anyways, rail damage voids warrentee

it all depends on how you land on the rail. if you pop too high, the impact will dent and break edges. If you barely clear the rail and absorb the impact, edges will last longer. just don't get too little air and clip the rail

agreed, a lot of guys say you should slide on your back edges, but thats the sure way to wear them down like a mother. As long as the rail is good, you can slide with forward pressure.

I have like 3 or so cracks in my edges, but I don't really care at this point. If they rip out, I might start to care.

no actually, I usually slide either flat or on inside edges. So it is weird that they cracked in the exact same place. PLus I was on boxes and wide rails all opening day. Trembs didn't even have anything thiknner than 8 inches set up. I think it is from excess bending in the ski or something. It cannot be explained by rails since then nex tweekend I was sliding a single barrel urban than had some weld bumps and no damage.
