You might want to reconsider what you said. Liberty is strong and not a "furby or pog style company". The "pog and furby style comments might be better suited to accompany Monoskiing only". There is not a bad company out there these days dude. For that fact the growth of our industry is in fact dictated by these new up and coming companies. Example Liberty, Faction, Prior, 4front. Our sport is in alot of ways growing and this is a good thing. Our freeride/park segment of skiing is actually the smallest aspect of the sport. Without Moms and family's our sport will die. But more and more young rippers funded primarily by Mom and Dad's across the world are keeping these companies a float and growing slowly but steady. This might be some indication why small company's can sign a big ski ledgends such as Larose. Right on keep buying skis kids. And companies can keep signing more people.

I've been pretty determined to stay out of this thread as a sponsored rider, cause I obviously think this is a great move by both Larose and Liberty. However, random intelligent comments sometimes surface, and ^ that was well put. Thanks.

Thanks dude I feel the same way you do. It needed to be said so people are more greatful about the industry and not rather dissing it all the time for un educated reasons.

most of you dont know any of us or Phil LaRose and dont know anything about what really goes on in this industry. (It's a lot bigger than you think, and it has been around for longer than any of us!)

This move, both by Liberty and Larose, is going to push Liberty forward faster than any other upstart company. Liberty now has a larger name rider, that knows skis and knows skiing. We'll see good rider input, better advertisement and more attention.

You guys are really stubborn about who you support in the ski industry. Look at what all the different companies are doing. Just because you don't like the logo, or the graphics on the skis doesn't mean they are an inferior company. So a few people have posted problems with Liberty breaking in the past. Guys like po-ro have come out and said it was a 'bad batch' and that the skis are stronger. I believe they are after this word of mouth currently going on.

Either way, to say this is a bad move by Larose is incredibly stupid. Look at the pros that moved to companies like 4frnt and Armada. They were given full support, and Larose should be too because what he is doing is not any different. I can't wait to see the accelerated progression of Liberty.

Yeah but they have soo many skis that Dynastar give them.He doesn't really care if a pair break because he's got another 10 pairs

Maybe with Larose's input the skis won't suck soon. I think it's a great move for Liberty, but I won't comment on wether or not I think it's a great move for Phil as he's the only person who decides what's good for him, and I respect his decision.

The only thing Liberty needs more than a guy like Phil is a good Art Director. Figure it out, christ.
