tanner will forget his skis in montana and not be able to participate hence,
dumont will not qualify beacause of new tougher heightrequiremens and that
candide and jon have becomed so strucked by delusions of grandeur/megalomania by the time for the event so they've decided to ski with skis from a different timeage, say pieces from the 1930s and 40s perhaps, made out of woodmaterial solely.
