so i live in the detroit area, i was gonna go east but you guys convinced me otherwise. i would be leaving january 13th and returning january 16th. im thinking utah since salt lake is so close to the mountains. expedia has a deal for 145 for 3 day passes valid at snowbird/brighton/alta/solitude. sound like a plan or should i be going elsewhere?
Phat trip. Had a friend hit almost the same exact resorts last year. Just hop on the internet like expedia to find cheap stays. I even think theres a site called cheaphotels.com or something like taht. Just search engine it
Well you picked the right resorts, as far as lodging goes, obviously stayin in the valley will be 5 times cheaper than up at the resort but it also doesn't have the same "feel" to it. More nightlife in the valley (if you are staying downtown) I would look for cheap motels in the town of "sandy" not far from the resorts if you are on a budget. If not alta or brighton probably have the cheapest lodging.
