Difference between 179 & 174

i just ordered the 179 06 PE's through a shop but like a week later they found out from k2 that k2 had sold them all so i ordered a 174 instead of the same ski. i dont think there will be much of a performance difference any opinions on this matter?

obviously there is a length difference but does it affect anything or is it basically the same ski just a little shorter?

Well if he was riding 179s already, moving to 174 might feel slightly differnt.
