So ive gone through 2 tubs of protein now and have only gained like 10 lbs but i believe its cause my protein has no fat in it... i wanna gain like 20 lbs and was wonderin if anyones taken muscle juice and or any other good protein/creatine/weight gainers and what the side effects might be... cause i know with the protein i was on there were none but im not sure about this one
Creatine hydrates your muscles so you can do more reps and work out longer. But since it puts water in the muscles, it makes them look stronger and bigger than they are. Also, since your muscles get bigger, they push more on your veins, causing high blood pressure. Protein supplemts do barely anything because you need way more protein a day than you can get with a protein shake.
weight gain is minimal, the average is 1 kg per week, and that will vary from person to person. most of the weight gain is from water retention in muscles, not necessarily from actual muscle construction. that is not to say creatine doesn't help with muscle growth because it does encourage the growth of cells that repair muscle fibers and stimulates the metabolism of protein. however, the human body already makes enough creatine on its own, so supplementing it doesn't make too much of a difference.
the problem is, i do eat a lot... probably more than the normal person... but i guess i just have a fast motabolism and dont gain anything... so if i were to take some sort of weightgainer/protein supplement what should i take?
weight gainers = high amounts of carbs and super calories. theyre not very good supplements but it will be very helpful during bulking so if you want 20 more lbs now is the time to bulk over winter then so start bulking now till spring and lift some heavy ass iron. drink lots of water then when spring comes around and your 20 to 30 lbs heavier and just mass, cut down on your carbs and fat but keep the protein high and do a few more reps per exercise. youll look wonderful for the beach come summer.
There is truth to that.
With googd woorkouts you need about 1000 cals more a day which means you gotto eat waht you can get in if you want your muscles to grpw, otherwise your matabolizing your expensive protien supplements.
pizza is loading with carbs with hardly any protein. eating 4 slices is well over 100g of carbs which is wayyyyyy too much for one sitting. although if your bulking then fuck it cuz abs arent to be worried about when bulking
i eat lots and lots of red meat and fish, especially salmon. salmon is high in protein and has low fatty acids. gaining weight takes time. i lift at the gym every day. legs one day, upper body the next. i've been doing that for about few months straight now.
you want to gain it quick and easy then go with NO2 its a hundred dollars for one bottle. buy the book and read it!!!! two of my buddies didnt cycle off and they were in the hospital one of them collasped in class. But we gained the mucsle though big time. the key of it is, it makes the vines larger forcing the heart to bump more blood which makes for better muscle endurance and strength. trust me it works one my buddies who i got on it cause of how big i got, is training to be a pro wrestler.
