i have a project for physiology in which i have to type a 6 page paper and a presentation on a topic. i chose to do the ACL, MCL, PCL, and the LCI. i have to explain wut damage can be done, and certain impacts and activities could cause the tear, etc. and i have to explain wut methods of treatment are availble and/or surguries are possible.
anyone who has gotten hurt and went through and injury such as the ones mention above. maybe an explanation of wut u went through, how it happened, wut u did to recover, etc. any feedback and help is appreaciated. thanks guys.

an acl is prone to being tore when your knee is bent and the mcl is prone to being torn when the knee is extended. that is because the acl is in the front of the knee and the mcl is in the back so the are streched at the times i metioned.

well i dont know if this will help you at all, probably not, buuut:
i broke my leg riding dirtbike after my race, and like, my acl was going to tear, but since i was young and my bones werent as strong yet because of that, the bone hinged out of place where the acl was pulling, so basically that saved my acl. but i still had to get 4 doses of morphine to get that bitch straight and in a cast, the bone had to like grind back into place it sucked. but yeah, rehab for that, if you want to know, just a lot of hours on the weight machine, and i still rode dirtbike, even tho i couldnt bend my leg. hell i rode with my cast on, just rode with one leg, and then one time i bungee'd my leg to the front rack on our fourwheeler...fun times hahah. anyway, hope that helped, you could probably use it for something...
