So I just tried on some of last years salomon pro models tonight and I'm deciding whether to buy. I think they might be the boots for me since I have a pretty narrow foot and the boots i currently own are the green 1080s. So I just dont know if i wanna spend 400 bucks plus i kinda wanna try on the diablo magnesiums so i was wondering if anyone knows how they pro models feel compared to the tecnicas. to buy or not to buy whats the verdict?

I have the pro models from 2 years ago, the green ones. They are really great boots. Nice tight fit around ankle, but flexible for landings. The perfect boot if you ask me. I also paid 275 last year. so you may be able to talk that price down. It sounds high for a last years boot.

I have quite narrow feet aswell & I have just changed from the Pro Model to the Rossi Elite Bandit Carbons & the fit is so much better. I tried on a heap of boots, Atomic, Technica, Salomon, Rossi. The Salomons felt like buckets compared to the rest. The Technicas felt super comfy but I found the cuff felt really low.
Best advice just go & try on heaps off different types of boots, most important bit of kit!

the pro model gun boot is taken from the course last which is more on the narrow side since the course is a race last

i have the pro models from last year (ones with the chili peppers)..and they are really nice...i think they are a very good all around boot...not too soft but not too stiff..shock absorbing foot bed...defly worth the $$

I have these, they're '03's I believe.
I love them (but Salomons fit my foot best) nice snug fit that gives me the performance I like (I used to race)
If you find them too stiff, you can always take out the bolts on the cuff and the get real soft...
