Ski pants ?

i was wondering if the siver pants are warm and waterproof, they are 5000mm but i was wondering if this will do the job, or if the helly hanson cargo pants with 10000mm waterproofing would be the best bet

Waterproofing is fine, I've never come home with a soggy bottom.

I would go with the higher waterproofing, and those helly pants are pretty sick looking as well.

waterproofness doesn't really have that much to do with warmth (unless you're wet of course). i have some of the siver pants for this year and i wear them without anything underneath. 10 degrees and dumping at vail today and i was fine. wouldn't want to rock them in a PNW slush blizzard but for colorado they're fine.
