i was wondering what 35mm cameras are good for action shots/best FPS....my dad has a really old Pentax MX but i dont know if it will do well on the slope..anysugestions? thanks

^ the F5 is sick. ive got the F4 and i love it. any camera will work for action photography for the most part, just some aren't going to have the same functions as others. Like the newer cameras can have different shooting conditions, but if read a little bit you can do that yourself.

I guess any slr with a decent (wide-angle) lens works fine. Shutter-priority exposure could be extra help too. But if you're thinking of doing sequences it's all different. The you need a motor drive if the body doesn't have it already.

you can get a Canon EOS1 with a fps booster (thus making it square body) for $300 used. I think thats the best cam for the best price. It shoots ^ fps with the booster, which is all you really need.
