So I am going to get my bindings mounted and I want my brother to be able to use them too but the sole length of his boots are about 5mm longer then mine and 5mm doesnt seem like a lot so should I get them mounted for his boots the bigger ones and mine will still fit or what? Sorry I tryed searching and couldnt find it. Thanks everyone for the help

that's a bad idea. bindings must be mounted for 1 pair of boots. either both of you use the same pair of boots or nothing at all. you have to know what you're doing to make any adjustments and you definetely don't know

but I though that the looks had 25mm of elastic travel so you could do this without needing to buy demos?

travel doesn't mean the boot grows and shrinks 2.5cm

elastic travel means it bends when the ski flexes

o haha ya i am stupid but why do people always say that the bindings wont have to be remounted if the boot sole lengths are close and 3mm diference is pritty close right??

the binding is on a track, and can adjust a little, but if you get them set for a boot 5mm too big your boot wont fit right.
just do as they say and get them mounted for one pair of boots and use those for yourself and your brother.

i wouldnt recomend it but you can adjust the binding, with a screw driver you can slide the look heelpiece forward and back pretty far and should be able to easily account for the 5mm difference, ofcourse doing this is at your own risk and dont go bitchin to your shop if you get hurt because you didnt know how to properly set your binding
