The only down side to places like State is that there are no places to go that close. I'm at Ferris so we're close to caberfae, cburg, the boynes and nubs.
We had a club a few years back but I'm not sure if its still around. Its easy to start clubs at college though so dont worry about someone not having one.

I go to State's law school but I live in Lansing. There is a pretty sick rail over in one of parks down here. There is a decent hill too for setting up jibs or maybe a little booter (snow permitting)if anybody is interested.
I would have done it last year but not many people in law school ski, or ski park for that matter, so I haven't had anybody to help set shit up and session.

I forget the name of the park but it's on the river south of 496 sort of by the Lansing Country Club.
I'll figure it out and let you guys know.

I scoped out that rail in Lansing and it is pretty tight. But unless we get more snow we would need to find something to use for a ramp. Other than that it has a good hill or speed up to it and several different parts that you could hit.
It's at Moore's park on Moore's Drive off of Washington along the river. There is a school and a pool there too. The rail is actually on the side of the pool behind the school.
All times are Eastern (-5)
