...WINTER STORM WILL MOVE INTO THE SIERRA AND WESTERN VALLEYS
OF NEVADA MONDAY...
.A VERY MOIST WINTER STORM WILL MOVE INTO THE SIERRA MAINLY FROM
THE TAHOE BASIN NORTH MONDAY AND CONTINUE INTO TUESDAY. SNOW
LEVELS WILL BEGIN BELOW 6000 FEET BUT WILL GRADUALLY RISE MONDAY
NIGHT INTO TUESDAY TO 7000 FEET TO 8000 FEET. THE WESTERN VALLEYS
OF NEVADA WILL SEE A PERIOD OF SNOW MONDAY BEFORE THE SNOW ENDS OR
CHANGES TO RAIN. SOME PATCHY FREEZING RAIN IS POSSIBLE MONDAY
AFTERNOON IN SOME OF THE COOLER VALLEY LOCATIONS.

WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM MONDAY TO 7 AM PST
TUESDAY.
SNOW WILL BEGIN IN THE TAHOE BASIN EARLY MONDAY. SNOW LEVELS WILL
RISE TO ABOVE LAKE LEVEL MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY BUT HEAVY SNOW
WILL CONTINUE ABOVE 7000 FEET. EXPECT 4 TO 7 INCHES OF SNOW AT
LAKE LEVEL BEFORE SNOW LEVELS RISE MONDAY NIGHT. ABOVE 7000 FEET
