As we know xmas is right around the corner, and im pretty sure i want to get a new(coming off the FIRST Generation Ipod) Mp3 Player. Ive been looking like crazy and it seems the Ipod video is the right choice.

-30 gigs

-mainly for music and videos are jsut a cool plus.

-sure i would just get an old non color ipod 20gig to save cash but the cheapest i found was 230, screw that.

-There os is 10x better than any other player i have used.

-Looks dope, nice size

-I have a mac so they work perfect together

Now my question is, will this be my best bet?
Thanks. Feel free to post other players ect and tell me why its better.


*Note i am having my brother buy it with a student discount which makes it 270.

yeah i think an ipod is the best mp3 player but many people dont

Yeah man i checked those out, but what is so much better about it that the ipod? sure it has a better battery life but coming off my first gen, i could care less if i got 3 hours period of battery life. im doin just fine with mine and it sucks

radio, voice recorder, watch movies, battery life, more durable, doesnt scratch like IPOD, weather resistant, works great with mac/pc, firmware upgrades, changeable wallpaper, plays more file formats than IPOD, has in line recorder so you can record tv shows, movies, etc.., you can see all the lyrics while the song plays, has a clock, g-shock,............

Yeah all that is awesome BUT
The basic navigation SUCKS compared to the ipod.

i still dont know what you are talking about...i have about 28.5 gigs now. i put all music files into folders based on the artist name on my computer, then just drag it over and wahla...when i want to listen to citizen cope i go to "C" and there it is.

yes but IPOD AUTO puts similar names files into folders. so u can drag all your music and get it sorted auto.

then make playlist for the music u want to hear while skiing
