I really like dredg.
I usually don't like that type of music, but the singer has such a marvelous voice. Quite similar to the postal service. I saw them live for $10 bucks, one of the best shows ever. They sounded exactly like their recordings.
Catch without arms is my fav. album of theirs.

the dredg accoustic is better than an album cut. a very talented live band that can be better live than on the radio.

Yup... Dredg rock the shit. Their growth as a band is amazing. Listen from their Demos, to Lietmotif, to El Cielo, to Catch Without Arms. All amazing CDs... all completely different yet they somehow all build on one another. Good stuff... very good stuff.

What the hell was Dredg doing on tour with Fall of Troy and Bear Vs. Shark. Granted Fall of Troy is alright and Bear Vs. Shark fucking rock... Dredg is nothing like either of them. To be totally honest, I'm surprised that Fall of Troy and Bear Vs. Shark toured together... they're both pretty different also. Regardless... that must have been a sick show.

Fear Before too?! Wow... that's a really eclectic show. You're right though... Fall of Troy, Bear Vs. Shark, and Fear Before are all on Equal Vision. Dredg is actually on Interscope though... strange.
Looking at the Equal Vision site now... I didn't realize how many good bands they have. A show with Alexisonfire, Bear Vs Shark, and VAUX... I might be willing to give my left nut for that... but probably not...
