Well I feel like an idiot for asking this but I guess everybodys gotta start somewhere. So, I just started skiing last year and I dont really know any of the tricks or names. So could someone help me out tell me what they are and how to do them?
well lets start with spins the first spin you are going to want to try is a 180 to do this head toward a jump while maintaining speed and balance come up confident on the lip of the jump jump up and look over your shoulder and youll start to spin now make sure you committ if you dont youre in a world of hurt
If you lean back and rotate around 360 degrees on a vertical axis, thats called a "backflip". If you ride perpendicular across a rail or box thats called many things including: "Grinding", "Sliding" or "Jibbing."
haha, thanks for the little bit of help. And to Fr33skier I can already do 7s just with no steez. I skated before I started skiing so I know how to do stuff I just dont know any of the names of stuff. And if you want to see the video of the 7 if you dont believe me ill show you, but my idiot friend has to figure out how to get it on the web.
Were do I grab on my 7s? If thats what your asking, well like I said there isnt any steez in them, i havent landed one with a grab in it yet. I still havent got used to the way you have to grab on skis compared to on skates. Its a heck of alot easier on skates.
