Volkl and K2 are owned by the same company, and are tied in with Marker bindings.

Ok, here:
AMER GROUP owns: Atomic, Dynamic, Volant and Salomon.
K2 owns: K2 Skis, Volkl and Marker.
QUICKSILVER owns: Rossignol, Dynastar, Lange and Look.
TECNICA GROUP owns: Tecnica boots, Nordica boots, Dolomite boots amd Lowa boots.
And that's all that's in the mag. But that should clear some things up I hope.

Fischer makes some volkls, and many more.
Atomic made all the bigger Armadas this Year!!!

Well, as far as I'm concerned, K2 and Volkl are the two best companies on the market. I guess it is no mistake that they are affiliated with each other. (Even if it is recent)

A bit off topic but did you know k2 owns a bunch of big paintball compainies: Brass Eagle, JT, WGP(make autocockers), and Viewloader. You may or may not recognise those but I found that suprising.

If you'd kindly look at each Armada ski this year you will see that they used several factories this year. Yes the Ar5 and T-halls are still made in the E.U. in the Slovenian Elan Factory (where Nordica skis are made too). The ARV, JP v Julien, and the ANT are made in Austria however in the Atomic factory, it says made in Austria right on the skis.

K2 is actually an investment bank that owns companies in like 30 different industries, the ski brand itself is named after the bank to make it seem like the ski company owns things.
