Why is Ski Equipment overflowing into Ski Gabber?

I mean what the hell is up with all of the gear questions in Gabber now? Guys there is a forum dedicated to gear questions, and even has a bunch of stickies with FAQ's. Lets try to keep the forums a little cleaner and organized.

but anyway, why not just make this thread in ski equipment then if "people need to read it so badly" and perhaps the search bar could be utilized in a situation such as this also

maybe ski equipment is overflowing into ski gabber because you NEED equipment to ski so you have something to gabber about in ski gabber and site discussion stuff is probably overflowing into ski gabber because ski gabber is on this site! holy shit!

This is in the correct forum, because apparently nobody reads "site discussion". Otherwise they would have read Keegan's awesome little sticky about how the site works. Or they would have bothered to read the nice FAQ section for new members. And If I wanted this to have any effect, it needed to go where the morons posting will see it.
Posting this in the site discussion would be the equivilant to John Kerry giving a speech at a NRA convention.
