Just got back my skis from the shop. This is a new shop I have been going to, and I bought new skis, boots AND bindings from them.

So I ask them to mount the bindings for me, at +5 on the mounting chart.
So they do it, for a $30 fee.

I get my skis back, it sure doesnt look like theyre mounted at +5. How do you measure where they are (ie, what is supposed to line up with the chart?)

On mine the front of the plate for the rear peice of the binding is lined up with +1.

So I think they mounted my bindings at +1, but I dont wanna flip out and be wrong.

Check were the middle of your boot is at.

no thats right. its wher ethe middle of your boot is where its supposed to line up with the +5. i have PEs and the front of the back binding lines up with +1
