If you mount then 5 cm back from center you can really tear down the mountain in the powder, but if you want to do more park maybe like 2-3cm back from center.
Some of you people are absolutely stupid. The ski is made for a center mounting. anywhere else hinders the performance. It's an all-park ski, no there is no, "it works good in powder" it works the same as an other non-powder ski in the powder. You mount the damn things CENTER and if you don't, a mob of LINE interns will raid your house and kill you.
Mount them 1 cm to the right of center. Or in the middle, if you like, or don't mount them and put a LINE Binding on it. This would put you in the center??????????
you would have to be an idiot to mount invaders anywhere but centre. There symmetical, there sidecut is from centre, they are made to be skied @ true centre.
if u wanna mount the invaders anywhere other then center...i suggust u hit ur self with a hammer, sell ur invaders, buy regular skis, then to top it off...drown in a big bowl of tapioca
in other words...for your sake...jus mount them center
watch the video, and if tou have the reactor bindings then the 4 quick mount screws are in the center, so mount one foward on back or both backwars or any which order it dont matter they are totally semetrical and are made to be center mounted.
You obviously havn't skied much bro. Look at the dimensions of the Invader they kill powder more than other park skis cuz they're wider than most park skis. Besides any ski skis better and takes out more crud when your mounted further back from center. I know the Invader is designed TO BE ABLE to ski centered but having an issue with someone mounting it elsewhere is like having an issue with %90 of twintips and their owners because hardly anyone ever mounts recommende anymore and this ski is no different. Mount your skis where you want and let everyone else do the same.
i thought you could only mount invaders dead center. if you mount them back, it'll mess up the ski or whatever, since it's perfectly symmetrical. that's what i did with mine.
Good try buddy, but imagine the butter zones at high speed rushing powder. They are meant to be true center. anything else can hinder the true performance. Like Levinthal said himself, the 1260 was meant to be true center, but people wern't ready for it, now they are. Leave it at true center.
