so today is black friday and everything and i was going to get a camcord to video tape skiing stuff but i have no i dea what to get. i decided i would just look on ebay once some of you guys told what to get. im looking for something that can hold a decent amount of tape and doesnt have a short battery life, an dhas to be some what small, that could fit in a big pocket in my ski coat or something. i do work so i have an income but i need to pay for gas so my price range goes up to around 250$. any ideas?
canon makes a bunch of small ones, there's the whole optura line that is relatively cheap and they're small and would fit in your jacket. but yeah, i would talk to someone else because i don't know much.
to my knowlege there is cannon lineof ZR80,ZR85, and ZR90. my friend had a ZR85 and it worked great,we used it alot throughout the year and never had and problems plus it is somewhat cheap and has good quality. My recommandition is to search google for the cannon ZR85
GO WITH CANON.
their camcorders have the best image for the price.
only problem is motor noise, but that doesnt matter with the wind and stuff you'll have on the mountain.
if you can, get the panasonic i think... the one with three ccd's.
it has amazing color and is about 1 grand.
other than that, stay away from sony. i hate their cameras, unless its their hdef camera.
